Concrete Cooking Stove
Product Design/Making
This is a homemade piece of furniture.

Background
While operating the ESTEAST studio, I personally made a concrete cooking stove for community members to use. Following the principle of thrift, I collected materials that were available to me and created a cooking stove at a minimal cost. This project was an early implementation of my philosophy of 'make less, create more.'

Process
Choose a piece of wood with a smooth surface.
Making a mold for the concrete slab.
Filling with concrete.
Using bricks to build the wall.
After a week, once the concrete slab is fully dried, I got some help to lift it up. It's very heavy!
Afterfinish.
Place the induction cooker on it, done!
